2.5" Wide Guitar Strap, Hand Carved Rose Pattern w/ Initials and Conchos

2.5" wide, classic style leather guitar strap, hand carved with rose floral pattern in Antique Briar Brown, with two old school copper rivets, four 3/4" High Sierra conchos w/brass rope edge and 1.25" wide, Laramie buckle. This heavy strap is custom made for a Northeast Texas musician with six roses and initials. It is sized to 53" in length and adjusts from 51" to 55". The 3/4" hand sewn, hand tooled keeper is a complimentary Medium Brown Antique.

This strap (all three pieces and 3/4" wide keeper) is cut from a 10-11 oz. single side of Hermann Oak vegetable tanned leather. The main strap body is 2.5" wide with 1.25" wide connector straps. Front and back hand tooled connector straps are punched for 9/16" acoustic guitar connector pins. The heavy 10-11 oz. leather has been skived at the connector strap ends making it easier to fit the pin through the button hole. All edges are dyed Dark Brown, nicely beveled, burnished smooth and sealed with gum tragacanth. The 1.25" wide connector straps are hand-tooled in a nice border pattern and are also dyed Antique Briar Brown.

My classic style straps come with attached 1.25" wide connector straps, so when the connectors become worn, they can easily and inexpensively be replaced without touching the main 2.5" strap body, which will last a lifetime with heavy use. This style strap is quite heavy, very comfortable to wear and doesn't require an interior lining or stitching.

All dyes and finishes are environmentally friendly water based products.

All my guitar straps are one-off, made-to-order items. Let me know what you'd like and what your budget allows and we'll see what we can come up with. My least costly straps run about $180 each; will be just as stout; simply with less tooling; maybe plain or with a simple border pattern and a solid color. I will make up any size strap in any pattern, style or color you prefer.

We guarantee all GRIT COMPANY products including custom orders and will refund the purchase price in full should you be less than pleased upon receipt of your item. We can't however, promise to re-make a custom order that has been returned (which has so far never happened). Our agreement to remake an item would be predicated on the reasons for dis-satisfaction and determination of our ability to understand and meet your expectation.
