Bi-Fold Leather Wallet


Substantial men's bi-fold leather wallet custom ordered with unique look and smooth, rounded corners to fit pre-selected interior. Outside is vegetable tanned cowhide with richly tooled texture created one dot at a time using a #S931 seeder with black initials over tan in foreground. This tooling is very simple, but extremely labor intensive, hence seldom seen. Hand-stitched wallet color is tan. Thread is natural colored, waxed, 100% polyester, 0.045" cord from Maine Thread Company. Soft, calf-skin interior is brown with outside veg tan cover lined with very durable brown pigskin. This wallet is designed to compliment the brown calf-skin interior selected by our customer from Springfield Leather Company (SLC).

Grit Company did not fabricate this wallet interior as it came preassembled from SLC per customer request. We can accommodate nearly any customer request to fit and compliment another maker's interior, another maker's exterior or fabricate your preferred style from scratch in our Coolidge, Arizona shop.

This unusual wallet will last a long time and will develop a beautiful rich patina as it wears. The traditional hand saddle-stitching will likely outlast the leather without unraveling.

We can custom make a wallet for you with square corners, round corners, hidden pocket, any number of card holders with a choice of half-circle, thumb-indent, "V"-notch or wave card holder top for easy card access. Choose bi-fold, tri-fold, checkbook, trucker/biker, passport or simple card-holder style. The choice is yours as are the leather, colors, stitching, riveting, etc.

Your wallet choice need not be carved or tooled. We can make up a gorgeous wallet for you in Horween's impeccable Chromexcel, Cordovan, Dublin, Essex, etc. These oiled, waxed, hot plated leathers are incredibly rich and very durable, aging with grace over long periods of useful life.

GRIT COMPANY does not have unsatisfied customers. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase of a GRIT COMPANY product, return it undamaged within 15 calendar days and your purchase price will be refunded in full including standard service return shipping.

We tend to process shipments quickly, so if cancelling an order, please help us out by trying to do so within 4 hours. If that isn't possible please notify Bruce as noted below.

We guarantee all GRIT COMPANY products including custom orders and will refund the purchase price in full should you be less than pleased upon receipt of your item. We can't however, promise to re-make a custom order that has been returned (which has so far never happened). Our agreement to remake an item would be predicated on the reasons for dis-satisfaction and determination of our ability to understand and meet your expectation. Expectations are sometimes difficult to communicate and it's entirely possible for us to misunderstand what it is you really want. We do our best to take responsibility for these sorts of circumstances. Custom work always requires good communication between customer and shop - it goes with the territory.
