2.5" Wide, Hand-Carved Leather Guitar Strap


2.5" wide, classic style, leather guitar strap, hand-carved with western floral pattern in antique saddle tan over black, with 1.75" wide elliptical Diablo style concho, two old school copper rivets and four 3/4" matching Diablo conchos to compliment 1.25" wide western buckle. This heavy strap is a custom made gift. It's sized to 51.0" in length and is adjustable from 48" to 54.25". This strap is made for a bass guitar but will fit most any electric guitar.

The floral carving pattern is based on historic, western floral leather carvings done by the customer's Grandfather, modified slightly to fill out a 2.5" width guitar strap.

This strap (all four pieces and 3/4" wide keeper) is cut from a 10-11 oz. single side of Hermann Oak vegetable tanned cowhide and is 2.5" wide with 1.25" wide connector straps. Front and back hand-tooled connector straps are punched with 3/8" diameter button-holes to accommodate many different makes of guitars as the gift is for the owner of a significant guitar collection. Two button-holes are provided at each end so when one wears, there's another remaining; plus provides three inches of length adjustment. All edges are nicely beveled and burnished to a smooth black finish complimenting the solid black, tooled connector straps.

Grit Company classic style straps come with attached 1.25" wide connector straps, so when worn, they can easily and inexpensively be replaced without touching the main 2.5" strap body, which will last a lifetime with heavy use. This style strap is quite heavy, very comfortable to wear and doesn't require an interior lining or stitching.

All dyes and finishes are environmentally friendly water based products.

All Grit Company guitar straps are one-off, made-to-order items. Let me know what you'd like and what your budget allows and we'll see what we can come up with. Our least costly straps run about $180 each; will be just as stout; simply with less tooling; maybe plain or with a simple border pattern and a solid color. I will make up any width, color, length in any design you'd like.

GRIT COMPANY does not have unsatisfied customers. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase of a GRIT COMPANY product, return it undamaged within 15 calendar days and your purchase price will be refunded in full including standard service return shipping.
